THE ADELAIDE MURDER.
REPRIEVE DESIRED. Received July 2, 10.30 a.m. ADELAIDE, July 2. There is a great agitation to secure the reprieve of Coleman, who is to be hanged to-day. A crowd numbering 2,000, waited till a late hour last night in front of the Town Hall in the hope of presenting the Governor (Sir G. R. Le Hunte), who was attending a concert, with a resolution in favour of mercy, but the effort to see the Governor was unavailing.
