Received July 2, 5.20 a.m. LONDON, July 1. In thi House of Lords a l ' Select Committee' on Lord Avebury's Importation of Plumes Prohibition Bill examined Colonel C. Ryan, of Melbourne, who said he was persuaded that Mr Deakin, Federal Premier, will take step 3 to stop the present destruction of egi'ets.
