OBITUARY.

MR GROVER CLEVELAND

Received June 25, 10.25 p.m. NEW YORK. June 25. The death occurred suddenly, yesterday, from heart failure, of Mr Grover Cleveland. The funeral will take place on Friday. President Roosevelt eulogised the late Mr Cleveland's honourable career.

Mr Gro.'er Cleveland was born at Caldwell, New Jersey, on March 18th, 1837. He was admitted to the Bar at Buffalo in 1859, was Sheriff for Erie County 1871-74, Mayor of City of Buffalo in 1882, Governor of New York in 1883-85, President of the United Stales 1885-89 and 189397.
