The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-mor-row : —Southerly heavy gale southward of Queenstown, and Oamani, but northerly heavy gale elsewhere. Rain is probable in all parts of the country with falling barometer, but it will be rising in the southern-most district after midnight.
