ORATORIO RECITAL.

A highly successful rehearsal of the oratoria "Christ and His Soldiers," was held by Knox Choir, and those assisting on Monday evening. There was a good attendance of vocalists, and orchestra, and a capital rendering is assured for Thursday evening. Many people who heard the rendition some weeks ago were so delighted with it that there has been an unanimous request to repeat the oratoria. The choir have acceded to the request, and those who were unable to be present on the last occasion will have an opportunity of hearing this popular and tuneful work to-morrow evening in Knox Hall. The soloists are all capable singers, Who will be supported by a full orchestra. The performance will commence punctually at 8 o'clock, and sheets containing the words will be supplied to the audience.
