HOSPITAL SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

GRSAT JLEMONSTRAiION TOMORROW. To-day is Hospital Saturday and tomorrow is Hospital Sunday, and residents no doubt will bo fully apprised of the fact before to-day's ceremonies in coivrction with the occasion have proceeded far. Sundry attractive badges will be vended by appropriately attired ladies, and collection boxes placed as frequently as possible in the way of the sympathiser with the noble work which is sought to be benefitted. To-morrow is the chief day as regards functional displays, as a great demonstration organised by the Friendly Societies of the town is to be held, and in which all the local public institutions are assisting, including no less than four bands. A procession will leave the Borough Council Chambers at 2 p.m., and will enter Queen street via Perry street, and after proceeding to the Kuripuni Triangle, round which it will turn and march to the Parle Oval, where addresses will be delivered by prominent citizens. In the evening a Hospital service will be held at Knox Church, at which the offertory is to be given to the Hospital Sunday Fund. No doubt liberal donations will characterise the offerings of the public to the Fund, and a handsome total should result.
