WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held on Thursday. There were present: The Commissioner of Crowr. Lands (Mr J. Strauchon), Messrs A. Reese, J. Dawson J. M. A'Court, and C. J. Canton. The following title was approved: Section 27, block 4. Puketoi, W. J. Newcombe (0.r.p.) Residence up to the present was waived in respect of the transfer of • section 13, block 4, 'lararua, the transfer of which from Motu Rangimaupriora to Mrs E. J. Whyte was approved. The Board declined to recommend the transfer of sections 11 and 21, blocks y and 5, Huangnruu (Tawaha settlement) from James Todd to A. Koss. Mrs M. Craig'a application tp transfer section 11, block 15, Ngamatea, to Miss L. Pent, was provisionally approved; a!s>M. Hasler s application to transfer section 4, block 4, Puketci, to John McDavitt. The following transfers were approved on the usual condit : ons: Section 1, Pongaroa Village Settlement, A. T. Marshal to C. Ward; section 5, Mangamahu, J. McKinnon to A. Higgie; section 52, block 8, Maigahao, W. J. Ridcole to S. V. Rodney; section 1, block 2, Hamup, J. Cabled to L. S. Ford; sections ], block 7, end 12, block 3, Puketoi, W. J. Bluke to J. McIC. Morris; section 2, block 4, Tararua, H. Bond to H. and C. F. Fretlericksen; part 2,* of section 280, block 11, Wainuioru, F. G. and C. A. Richards to C. A., V. I. N., and C. G. Richards; section 160, Makuri Village Settlement, VV. Dunning to A. J. Cameron; section 0, block 8, Mt. Cerberus, J. Carolan to B. Matthews; s-'ciion 16, block 8, Mt. Cerberus, F. T. Tucker to J. A. Bellshaw (subject to transfer of JBellshaw's present hoMi«g); section 220, block 5, Mt. Cerbems, 11. A. Martin to C. R. Ro»s. Mr J. B. Smith was appointed to value sections 12 and 13, block 5, Huarg; r J3, which the lessee, F. 'fh'jm.-on, wishes to convert to renewable le ise; and sections 10 and 11, block 5, Huangarua (Tawaha Settlement), which A. J. Galyer wishes to deal with in a similar way.
