THE MANUFACTURE OF DIAMONDS.

M. LEMOINE'S FORMULA. Received May 1, 9.45 p.m. LONDON, May 1. The Union of London and Smith's Bank has handed M. Lemoine's formula to a Bow Street magistrate, who transmits it to a Paris magistrate. Lemione, charged with swindling Sir Julius Wernher out of £64,000 by pretending that he could manufacture diamonds, consented to the Union of London and Smith's Bank surrendering to the French judicial authorities the secret formula which was deposited with the bank in trust, by agreement between Lemoine and Sir Julius Wernher.
