In the final for the Ladies' Championship Singles, Miss Wellwood beat Mias Numieley I—6, •6 6—4. In the semi-final of the Ladies' Championship Doubles, Misses Travers and Wellwood beat Misses R. and L. Hughes by default. In the second round of thw Combined •Championship Doubles, Miss Wellwood and Swanston beat Miss R. Hughes and Hawkins by default. The •.final of the Men's Handicap Singles was won by Dart, who beat Veen 60 —49. Dart and Powell won the final •of the Men's Handicap Doubles, defeating the brothers Wybourne 60— 55. In the final of the Ladies' Handicap Singles, Miss Veitch beat Miss Howard 50—41. The Ladies' Handicap Doubles event reached the semifinal stage, Miss Clark and Mrs Grady beating Miss Wilson and Mrs Murphy 50 —45. The fourth round of the Combined Handicap Doubles resulted—Miss Kirker and Jameson beat Mias Crombie and Wright 5045. Miss Powell and Kean beat Miss Howard and Jones 50—46. Miss P. Bock and Powell beat Miss Arthur and Northcote 50—46.
