WORLD'S PICTURES AND COMEDY COMPANY.
To-morrow evening at the Town Hall the World's Pictures and Comedy Company (under the direction of Mr Charles Blake, the wellknown actor), will make their first appearance. The animated pictures are said to be entirely new to Masterton. A contemporary says:—"The pictures cover a wide range of interest, the picturesque, dramatic, romantic, sensational, fantastic, and comic, besides including some beauti-. ful creations in colour animation." Amongst the more prominent subjects'shown are: —"The Hooligans of Paris," "A Torpedo Attack on H.M.S. Dreadnought," and "The Stormy Winds Do Blow." Carl Hurman, illusionist and mystifier, is quite out of the ordinary run of legerdermain artists. Mr Charles Blake possesses a baritone vuice of surpassing sweetness. No finer art of vocalisation than that afforded by Mr Blake could possibly be placed before musical enthusiasts. Mr Geo. Sheffield, comedian, was seen in new and unique comic specialities.
