NEW PLYMOUTH FIRE BOARD.

NEW PLYMOUTH, March 24. The inaugural meeting of ths New Plymouth Fire Board was held tonight. It was decided to retain the services of the Volunteer Fire Brigade in its present form for the time being until a conference with the Brigade's executive is held. A secretary, valuer, superintendent and deputy were appointed. The question of forming a fire police and salvage corp3 is to be discussed later.
