KING MANUEL'S WOUND.

CABLE NEWS.

Uintad Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright,

AN OFFICIAL CONTRADICTON. Received March 24, 11.30 p.m. MADRID, March 24. Yesterday's statement in connection with King Manuel's wound is officially contradicted. A cablegram published yesterday morning stated that the newspaper "E' Mundo" reported that the wound received by the young King of Portugal at the time of the assassination of his father and brother, had proved so serious that the doctors advised amputation of the arm. King Manuel and his mother, said the paper, resisted this advice.
