"VOTES FOR WOMEN."
A GENTLE REMINDER
Received March 8, 5.8 p.m. LONDON, March 7. Members arriving at the House of Commons were much astonished to see flying steadily over Parliamentary buildings a banner inscribed "Votes for Women."
Subsequently it was discovered that it was a gentle reminder to legislators.
The banner was suspended in the air by means of a war kite handled from the roof of a warehouse in Lambeth.
