Mr and Mrs H. Callister, of Carterton, intend visiting England next month. Miss Freda Martin, of Maryborough, has returned home, after a holiday in England extending over two years. Mr and Mrs W. Toohill, of Eketahuna, , was. married to Miss Ellen Chisnall, of Eketahuna. Miss Grant, of Napier, was bridesmaid, and Messrs V. R. Roach and Ason were best man and groomsman, respectively. <f Mr Harry Pearce, the champion Australasian wrestler, arrived in Masterton, yesterday, on his way to Hastings, Napier and V/airoa.
