THE IRISH PARTY.

SPLIT IN THE CAMP. Received January 3, 8.42 p.m. LONDON, January 3. Mr John Redmond, National M.P. for Waterford City, in a lengthy statement, declared that failure to summon the Irish Parliamentary Party and the National Directory of of the League to endorse the action of the Conference is due to Mr W. O'Brien's demand to immediately summon the Party and Directory which would be inopportune and would not make for unity, but strife. It was due also to Mr O'Brien's proposal to transfer the arrangements to convene meetings from the hands of the Directory to a committee of three who are Mr O'Brien's nominees.
