Matthew's Club beat the Wairarapa School representatives on the • Schoolground on Saturday afternoon by 27 runs. The school team in their two innings made 92 (28 and 64), and S. Matthew's 119 . (17 and 102). Phillips 37 and Wilkie 23 were the principal- scorers for S. Matthews, and for the school team Fenwick 17 and Wheeler 13 were most successful.
