The forces of Mulai Hafid, the Sultan's half-brother, and Pretender to the Throne of Morocco, inflicted n severe defeat on the troops of the Sultan (Abdul Aziz) near Rabat. Moors have made two incursions into Algeria, in the vicinity of Kids. Troops are hurrying to defend Nemours. . TRIBES CROSS THE ALGERIAN FRONTIER. A SIX HOURS' FIGHT. ENEMY REPULSED. Received November 29, 9.48 p.m. MOROCCO, November 29. Several thousand Be-,i Shassen tribesmen and members of two other tribes crossed the Algerian frontier and attacked the French at Babelassa. The French were at first compelled to retire, but when reinforced regained Babelassa and drove the Moroccans over the frontier. For a; time the French were in a tight corner. Eleven Tirailleurs and an officer were killed and a number wounded. The fight lasted six hours.
