AFFAIRS IN RUSSIA.

DRUNKEN RIOTERS. MUNICIPAL ABATTOIRS RAIDED. ATTEMPT TO HANG EMFLOYEE3. ST. PETERSBURG, Nov. 22. A strange story has reached the capital from Vladivostock. It is reported that drunken rioters, led by a man in an officer's uniform, raided the municipal abattoirs, where many persons of both sexes are employed. The leader of the raiders ordered all th» employees to be hanged, and the rabble set about doing his bidding. However, very fortunately the gibbet broke while they were attempting to carry out the first execution, and the order was then revoked. The officer (?) was not content to let matters rest at this, and issued orders for the terrified employees to form into line. He attacked them with a sword, the other raiders using clubs. Many employees were shockingly injured before their shrieks brought a guard on the scene, when the rioters were arrested.
