The following' weather forecast \ was issued by Captain Edwin at 9 a.m., yesterday, for the subsequent 24 hours : Wind.—-Strong to gale from the northward at all places northward of Napier, Taupo, and Raglan, and from Lyttelton and Hokitika southward, x , strong to gale from between north and east and south-east elsewhere. Barometer.—Fall everywhere. Rain is probable generally. Warning signal for northerly gale is exhibited at Cape Maria Van Diemen, Tivitiiri, and East Cape, also at Nugget Point, and for easterly gale at Capes Campbell, Fouhvind and Farewell Spit.
