AUCKLAND FARMERS AND LAND BILL.
UNION EXECUTIVE PROTESTS. BE SOLUTION OF DISAPPROVAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 1. The executive of the Auckland Farmers' Union passed a resolution of strong disapproval of the form of the Land Laws Amendment Bill passed in the House, especially taking exception to the terms allowed lease-in-perpetuity tenants to convert to the freehold and aeainst withholding the right of purchase on reasonable terms to tenants holding land acquired under the Land for Settlement Act. Strong opposition was also expressed at the present form of the Endowment Bill, and regret that the Ministry were influenced by a small section of the House antagonistic to the rural interest.
