NAPIER CARNIVAL.

The combined committee for the carnival, to be held in Napier in March next, met this evening, and drew up the following programma for, the carnival: — Sunday, March 15th.—Church parade. Monday, JVfarch 16th.—Bowling , tournament, Maori demonstration and sports. Tuesday, March 17th.—First day of the Napier Park Racing Club's meeting, and cricket. Wednesday, March 18th—Napier Park races (second day), cricket, and marine excursions. Thursday, March 19ch.—Championship regatta, swimming championships, interprovincial lawn tennis tournament, bowling, and motor a.id launch trips. Friday, March - 20th. ■■ Tennis, j bowling, and cricket Saturday, March 21st.—Monster athletic and cycling gala. Sunday, March 22nd.—Sacred band concert. Monday, March 23rd.— Championship rowing, swimming, and general aquatic sports, motor launch trips, tennis finals. Tuesday, March 24th.—Grand fete for children, sports, etc., torchlight procession of fire brigades and volunteers, illuminated trade displays, , tableaux, fireworks, street masquer- j ades, confetti throwing, etc. , Wednesday, March 25th.— Mon-, ster interprovincial military tournament at Napier Park, rough-riding, motor car and ambulance corps events, grand military hall. There will be theatrical performances each evening.
