EXHIBITION LITERARY COMPETITION.

By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, October 21. The deadlock between the Home Industries Committee of the Exhibition and Hie office authorities regarding the literary competitions, has come to an end. The Committee had been informed that it could not have the book containing the cyphers that would enable if to ascertain the pVize winners in the competition in accordance with the judges' awards. This morning, however, Mr W. Miison, Chairman of the Committee, received advice from the Minister in Charge that all the books necessary should be handed to the Committee. This has been done, and the Committee, which will meet to-morrow morning, will probably announce the result immediately.
