OAMARU FARMERS' COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.
By Telegraph—Press Association. OAMARU,. September 21. The annual meeting of the Farmers' Co-operative Association was held to-day. The directors' report proposed to write off 5 per cent, from the office furniture and warehouse fittings, 10 per cent, from the plant account, pay a dividend of 7 per cent., pay a bonus of 2J per cent, on purchases of drapery, ironmongery and groceries, pay a bonus of 5 per cent, on salaries, refund 5 per cent, of commissions on grain and stock, and 25 per cent, on horses, place £772 to the reserve fund, which stands at £3,300, and carry forward the balance. The net profits for the year were ~£4,013 15s sd. The report adopted.
