STOCK MARKET. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale as follows:—The yarding of sheep consisted principally of hoggets, for which there was a good demand. Cattle were penned in larger numbers than we have lately been offering. Taken right through the quality was good, and we have to report a total clearance at prices somewhat in advance of those ruling at late sales. We quote Hoggets, best, 16s to 16s 6d; others 12s 4d to 14s 3d, culls 8s; store ewes, 14s 6d; poor ewes, in lamb, 14s; cattle, light beef bullocks, £7; three year steers, £4 8s 6d; two year steers, medium sorts, £2 10s to £3 ss; motherreared weaners, mixed sexes, Shorthorn, £2 Is to £2 7s 6d;. ditto Polled Angus. £2 7s 6d; fat cows, £5 17s to £6 10s; store cows, £2 10s to £4; cows in calf, £3 to £3 15s; heifers in calf £3 to £3 10s; empty heifers, £2 to £2 16s; calves, 6 Is.
