CARTERTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Tuesday. The quarterly meeting of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee was held at the Courthouse, Carterton, to-day, when there were present: — Messrs W. P. James, S.M., chairman, G.. A. Fairbrothe 1 *, A. 0. Considine, W.. Udy .and A. Bale. The adjourned application of J. S. Adams and Mr Wm. Butler, in respect of the Club and Martinborough Hotels at Mart in borough were granted. Applications for transfers from Mr P. Rogers to Mr Nitz, Tauherenikau Hotel, and Mr Debreceny to Mr Scallou, Club Hotel, Carterton, were granted.
