THE CONSTANCE CRAIG.
By Telegraph- Pi ess Association. AUCKLAND, August 19. Captain CI iff e, an experienced master mariner, credits the report that the Constance Craig was off Hokianga on July 26th. He concludes that she was badly knocked about, but lost only her deck hamper, and that she was blown out to sea after being sighted off Hokianga in a disabled condition. She was a staunch vessel, and he expects her to reach Hokianga again shortly. The natives at Pakiri, north of Auckland, report the finding of wreckage on the beach from the Constance Craig. It includes a nameboard with the name "Margarita" on one side and "Constance Craig" on the other.
