The Marylebone Club has cancelled Arnold's invitation to visit Australia, as he did not reply to it. Perrin has been invited to join the team.
AN ALARMED BOARD OF CONTROL.

The Secretary of the Board of Control is alarmed at the refusal of prominent cricketers to join the English team, and in view of the liability undertaken by the Board the whole position may have to be reviewed.
