The Governor of Casablanca was found in possession of recent loot,; also great quantities of merchandise were found hidden in his stores.

Many horrible atrocities are reported. One Spanish baker was rroasted in his own oven. The Mediona tribe, while returning home with Casablanca loot, was attacked by other tribes. There was a stubborn fight, lasting for .several lihciurs.

The Kb&mas tribesmen , owing to the bombardment of Casablanca, are furious against the Christians, and wish to take revenge upew Kaid Sir Harry Maclean, Raisuli is protecting the Uiter.
