AUCKLAND SCHOOLS.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND July 24. The quarterly statistics of the schools in the Auckland district show that there are 476 schools (including 80 half-time schools) with 33,527 scholars, 17.65P boys, and 15,869 girls, taught by 938 teachers. The following are the increases over the previous quarter:— Schools 5, teachers 3, scholars 205. The average daily, attendance has decreased by 280, 'largely due to measles.
