GOVERNOR OF A GAOL KILLED. Received April 26, 8.32 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, April 25. M. Akimoff, a reactionary, has been appointed president of the.Council of the Russian Empire, which is practically the Upper House of the Constitution. Four revolutionaries killed the governor, of the political prison at Odessa, in revenge for ill treatment. One of the governor's assailants was captured, one committed suicide, and the others escaped.
