INVERCARGILL NEWS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. INVERCARuILL, March 21. An unknown man, about 70 years of age, fell amongst some milk cans on the Railway Station, this evening, and was picked up, but died before a doctor arrived. The deceased held a ticket for Fairfax. An inquest will be held. It is stated that cases of measles exist in fifty families, the children of which attend the South School, and that school will probably be closed.
