WELLINGTON BOXING ASSOCIATION.

By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 21. The committee of the Wellington Boxing Association, to-night, decided to nominate Sir Jos. Ward for reelection as patron of the New Zealand Association, the Hon. H. F. Wigram as President, and Mr W. <3. Atack as secretary and treasurer. The Canterbury Association, having stated contests were likely to take place in Christchurch to decide who is entitled to the title of lightweight champion of New Zealand, the Wellington committee expressed the opinion that "Hock" Keys was entitled to be considered champion light-weight. It was stated that the Australasian amateur boxing championships will probably be held in Wellington this year.
