AUSTRALIAN RACING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received Febi*uary 23, 8.10 p.m. MELBOURNE, February 23. The Tenth Futurity Stakes resulted as follows: —Corroboree 1, Stepout 2, Collarit 3. Betting—s to 2 against Newbury, 5 to 1 Corroboree, 6 to 1 Collarit, and Isthria, and 8 to 1 Stepout. Corroboree won easily by a couple of lengths. Time, lmin 28sec.
The Stanley Steeplechase was won by Napier (10.5) by a length, with Kangaratta (9.9) second, and Up-to-Date (11.11) third. There were five lengths between second and third. Time, 4min 53Jsec.
