Received February 8, 8,35 a.m. LONDON, February 7. Referring to the coming Imperial Conference, The Times declares that the Colonial Premiers are not coming to exchange platitudes or to attend evening parties. They intend to achieve practical results and are imbued with very definite views respecting the methods by which the desired results are obtainable.. The Government, adds The Times, is evidently aware that it would not do to let the Conference be a failure.
AN EMPIRE-COVERING REGIMENT. Received February 8, 8.22 a.m. LONDON, February 7.
