METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Sunday was 25 points, and for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Monday 2.89 inches; total for the 48 hours, 3.14 inches, and for the three days 3.90 inches. The next highest rainfall for 24 hours during the .ast three years was 2.49 inches on October 26th, 1905, and 2.24 inches on February 4th, 1906.
