ASHHURST RACES. PALMERSTON N., Dec. 28. The Ashhurst-Pohangina Racing Club held its anual meeting, to-day, in dull, showery weather. The rac--1 ing was first-class, some good finishes being witnessed. The sum put through the totalisator was £15,055, as against £9,692 last year, when heavy rain fell.
