HOSPITAL SATURDAY.

Collections were taken .up by ladies on Saturday in aid of tbe Hospital, and to day the City Bands held their annual demonstration on tbe Basin Reserve for the same parpose Speeohes were made by the Chief Justice and by the Mayor. DUNEDIN, December 2. "Hospital Saturday" leaulted in £764 being colleoted for the Hospital and kindred institutions. Last year £7OO was collected.
