NELSON, November 27. The Nelson Agricultural find Pastoral Show commenced tc>-day, the arrangements being admirable aud the attendance good. The exhibits were more numerous than ami thej standard gen erall? was good. In sheep, Eornneys are the feature of the show, Hunt ;!Bron M who recently aent, two hundred rams to Australia, receiving high commendation. 'I tie Sliropshires and JEng lish Lejoestma were also very good, and fat iambs ware an attraction. Of the cattle, were most numerous,' Mr Gibfca and Mi* Cole« man being Mm most nuooossfnl exhibitors. la Chnnnet Islands W. D. Harkuess vvu; ilio most successful. Shorthorns were very. fair. Amongst the horses, draughts are most promi nent, and 112 pigs Barkshirss. 'lhe People's Day is tc-morrow, when a targe afcfcerirl&noe is expected.
