MASTERTON HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Hospital yesterday morning was attended by Messrs A. W. Hogg (chairman), J. 0. Ewlngton, J. B Keith W. Fisher, W. Harris; and M. J. H. Jackson. The Treasurer reported as follows: —Receipts for the month, £1,050 4a Id; disbursements, f£ 1,139 7s lid; leaving a cr. balance at date of £lO5 8s lOd. The Matron reported that the number of patients at the Hospital at last meeting was twelve, twenty were admitted during the month, eighteen were discharged, and one died, leaving thirteen at present in . the institution. Dr A. Hosking was authorised to purchase an operating table at a cost of £lO. 16 was decided to confer with the Benevolent Trustees with a view to making arrangements for the accommodation of convalescent patients. A committee, consisting of Messrs Hogg, Keith, and Bwington wai aopointed to confer with the medics! officers with regard to acquiring instruments for the Hospital. The committee was also authorised v to make arrangements for training probationers so that they may qualify for fcbeir examinations. Mr Ewington was appointed tbe visiting merrber for the month. Accounts amounting to £62 la 5d wore passed for payment.
