j After a world-wide whirl of triumph, Mdlle. Dolores, tbe queen of song, returns to tour New Zealand. The thousands of admirers throughout Australasia wiio have thronged her oonoerts before, says a contemporary, will look forward with eagerness to the renewal of an acquaintance which has always been one uf intense pleasure. It is quite safe to (say that Mdlle. Dolores left these shores four years ago as tbe'most popular and gifted artiste Wa'have had. With bcr Australian suooesses thick upon her Mdlle. Dolores went to London where sii9 Immediately captured concert goers? and now ebe ranks* right at the top of the tree in the great metropolis. Then followed in quiok succession, equal triumphs in Scotland, Ireland, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Liepsio, Warsaw, and even as fav as Mosoow, Mdlle. Dolorei has a very warm oom«r in her heart for tbe Australasian public, and tbat .was largely responsible for Messrs J. and'N. Talt, who are to-, direot' tbe tour, prevailing upon her to undertake the visit with so many important European engagements yet to fulfil. Mdlle. Dolores will give u concert in the Masterton Town Hall on Thursday evening, November 29th. The box plan will be opened at Miss Rive's on Monday morning, at 8 o'clock, and as a heavy booking is anticipated it has been decided to adopt the quere system, and seats will only, be allotted iu strict order of precedence. The prices have been fixed at <3s, 4s, and 2s.
