HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following oable from the High Commissioner, dated London, November 11th:— The butter market is iairly steady. The average price of ohoiceat New Zealand butter to-day is 114s to 116s; Danish, 1235; Siberian 114s. Latest advices sfate that the cheese market ia qaiet ut tno following quotation?—63s per owt. for white, coloured 6'is. Canadian makes are selling at 63s per uwt. Tiie heojp market shows quiet badness. Wellington on the spot is quoted at £36 to £36 10a per ton. The £36 10s quotation applies to January and March shipments. The price tor cnrient Manila on the spot, to day, is £i2. a The cocksfoot market ia doll, with limited demand. Average price today for bright, clean, dressed New Zealand weighing 171b per bushel on spat, is nominally 44s per cwt. Dark lots of rhe same weight are valued at 41b per owt.
