MUTINY AND DESERTION. A PERILOUS VOYAGE. Received November 12, 10.14 a.m. SYDNEY, November 12.. The barquenline Mary Isabel, of 300 tons, intended for the SydneyNew Zealand trade, bad an adventurous and lengthy voyage from Grimsby. The vessel put irito Algoa Bay, trruble having arisen with the crew, some of whom, it in alleged, formed a conspirßoy to do away with Captain Read and seize the vessel. At Algoa Bay eix men deserted, and during a h?avy gale the vessel parted from her anchor, and was driven to sea short-handed. The onptain made for Mauritius, where he obtained more men, but the officers left the slip. After leaving Mauritius the captain's wife had to take a watch on the bridge. It was found that a pipe oonneoted with the furepeak pump had been sawn through, rendering it useless. Ibis was looked upon as an attempt to endanger the safety of the ship.

SERIOUS FIRE IN A SHOP. Received November 12, 10.14 a.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 12. Damage amounting to twenty thousand pounds has been caused by a Are in a shop at Richmond, a suburb of Melbourne. The shop was crowded with bar-gain-hunters, mostly women, wtien the fire, supposed to have been caused by the fusing of an electric wire, broke out among goods in tbe window. A panic commenced. There were some exoiting soenes before the shop was cleared. .
