HOR&E SALE REPORT. Messrs Abraham and "Williams, Ltd., report that at their weekly horse sale, at Palmerston, last Saturdav, they submitted a catalogue of over 100 horses to a very large attendance. The quality was above the average, and a number of the animals excited keen competition —one fine mare, by Earl Salisbury, sold on account of Mr G. R. Hall, realising 92 guineas. On account of Mr R. D. Knight, the farm sold 11 at prices ranging from .£33 10s for plough mares up to £55 for good shafters; and on account ot other vendors, 3 and 4year medium draughts £3O to £35, heavy draughts £45 to £53, spring carters £lB to £23, light draughts £25 to £2B 10s, best hacks and harness horses £l4 to £l7, others £9 to £l2, cobs £8 to £l3, ponies £3 to £6, unbroken draughts £2O to £32. A consignment of unbroken hacks sold readily at prices ranging from £9 5s to £l3 ss.
