Ooorrieres, imagining that a murderouß attack was made on him, drew bis knife and stabbed ri«bt and left. He wounded the widow, and stabbed young Prevost again and again till he fell dead. Then the drunkard turned towards Suzanne Prevost, the daughter, and tne latter, in her terror threw herself from a window looking into a courtyard, and was killed on the flags, twenty feet below. ..The'!' frenzied soldier then rushed out of the room and wounded j several other people before he was disarmed and arrested.
