PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW.
By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMUIRSrON N., Nov. 2. It is estimated that cite attondanoe at the Manawatu Sbow, today, was at least 25,000, which constitutes a record. The weather was perfect, and the crowds oume out brightly frooked in summer olotheg, making a gay and striking scene. Only competitions were set down for adjudication, to-day, and these were won as follows: Hunters* Competition— Miss G M. Lloyd's The Vagabond, 1; J. N. Wilaon, 2; Mrs G. L. Suthezland's The Sinner, 3. aailitacy event—Sorgfc. Kanby's section (Feilding ME.), l;Sergt. Stevens' .'section (building M.R.), 2; s?ergt Smith's section (Pahiatua M.R.) ; 3. Best lady rider—Misa Campbell. Best lady driver—Mrs $. ii. Mcßae. Leaping oumpetition for ponies-rJ. D. Scott's Canteen; 1; J. P. Hammond's Little Wonder, 2. A considerable quantity of stock from the Show was shipped this morning for the Canterbury fixture.
