PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW.

PALMERSTON N., Nov. 1. The attendance was good at the Show to-day. There was a good display of horses dogs, and sheep. In Herefords, J. Stuokey won the championship to balls, and E. B. Buob'anai tbe championship in cows.
Dalziell Bros', ball won the championship in Shorthorns. Fleming won the championship in oows. In Ayrßbirea Slaok Bros, won the championship in balls, and S. Standen the obampicuship in the oows. In Jerseys G. A. MoOrea's cow won the championship. MoKeuzie and Lovelock's bull won the championship in the Hol-stoin-Friesian class, and Messrs MoDonald and Sous wou the oh am pionebip in oows. Duncan's Couquerer won the championship in thoroughbred horses. Mr G. F. Moore's Ally, Oriana, won the championship in the thoroughbreds. Mr G. L. Sutherland's Juggler was the champion back in the Show, Mr G. F. Moore's Boneor was the best in the draught stallions, and Mr F. Bremer's Glennie the best mare. Ohampion draught gelding, G. A. Gammon and Co. The sheep abampionships were won aa follows; -Lincoln ram-—Ram, W. H. Wyburne; ewe, T. Tanner. Romney Marsh—Ram, G. Wheeler; ewe, E. Short. English Leicester— Ram, Slaok Bros.; ewe, S. R. Lancaster. Border Leicester, — Ram, Hon. J. D. Ormond; ewe, Hon. J. D. Ormond. Shropshire Down— Ram, J. B. (Jorrigan; ewe, J. B. Corrigau. Soutnown Ram, J. Stuckoy; 6wh, W. E. Baker. Dogs made a remarkable show under the oontrol of the MaDawatu Kennel Club, Mr J. 0. Coupe, Melbourne, acting as judge. The entries were very large, and oarre from all parts of the colony. The best Fox Terrier puppy in the Show was T. Hide's Dunedin, which was awarded the special gold medal.' MoNiven's Piokpooket wou the Steeplechase in great style.
