THE MASTERTON CLUB'S CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY A. B. LAWRENCE. Ou the Masterton CJoIf Club's Links, at , Lausdowne A. B. Lawrence and A. Bewley played off the final for the championship, yesterday afternoon, the former player winning a most evenly contested match at the 18th hole. The respective saotes were as follow : FIRST. ROUND.
A. B. Lawrence 1 up. The winner's score of 82 carries with it the Challenge Shield for the best medal soore during the season, the best hitherto having been 83, put up hy C. 0. Cox.
