MASTERION ASSOCIATION
A meeting of the Committee of the Masterton Cricket Association was •held, last evening, iu Mr W. B. Obennells' office. The following senior fixtures were • drawn up:— October 18th-Noveiuter Ist.—No. I wicket: Carlton A v. W.F.C.A. No. 2 wicket: Star v. Carterton. Carlton ti, a bye November Btb-15th—No. 1 wicket: Carlton A v. Carlton 13.. No. 2 wloket: Cartortou v. W.F.C.A. Star a bye. The matches are to commence at 2.30 p.m. sharp. The fixtures for the Junior Championship were held over till November 29tb. The following nominations have been received:—Y.M.G.A., Star, Carterton. The Committee decided, upon the motion of Mr Ureu (W.F.C.A.), to charge a ground fee of one shilling per player per week, to be expended in the upkeep and prepara tion of the wickets for matches. A vote of thanks to the Chairman and Mr W. B. Chennells concluded <the business.
