Messrs Abraham and Williams, fljtd.i report*—At Palmerstoo N., oa Thursday, we had a Jarger yarding of cattle than usual, over one thousand head being offered. There was a good attendance and a number of oatsidea bnyeis were present, one buyer alone taking about 300 head With the exception of a few pens of bpringing beiters and low conditioned yearlings, very Utile was left unsold at the end of the day. An average yarding of sheep came forward. Ewe* and lambs made 21s 7d, fat ewes 18s lid, forward wethers 19s 6d, good hoggets 15s 3d, oull Jnoggetß 8a 6d ti lid 6d, shorn 2tooths lis. Forwaid bnllocks £5 10s, 3yr bullocks £4 5s to £5 3s, 2yr bnllocks £3 12s Gd to £3 16s, yearling steers 26s to 32a, yearling neif«rs 16s to 21*, weaners 10s to 12a 6d, fat cows £4 2a 6d to £4 15s, store oows 25h to £2 2s, springing heifers £3 to £6, heifers in calf £2 to £2 10s.
