METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Bodldington reports that the rainfall registered afc Upper Plain tor the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Tuesday was 11 points. Mr S. Mawley, Ditton, reports as follows:—Rainfall for September, 1906, 4.06 in; maximum rainfall in 24 hours .61 on 30th; average for 26 years, 4.09 in. The month on Uie whole has been remarkably free from winds.
